Hi, I was directed to this forum by a poster on PBS NOW politics and the economy. Since that forum is closing effective the 30th I needed to find a new "home".

It may take me awhile to get acquainted with which areas better reflect my interests but I hope to become a member you will be proud to have among your ranks (even if you maybe of a different party affiliation)

Sorry to hear about those forums closing down.

Its pretty quiet here as were still in the developing stages. We do appreciate the recognition though.

Cool, glad to see ya made it here.

Same here as at the other board, moderate tone, well moderated, middle of the road type posts (no flaming) and all will go smooth.

Extra smilies too, along with the mad chinaman who gets angry at social injustices

Granny, possum n' Uncle Ferd all say Welcome to the board.

Oh, and I've been running unregistered for a while which is why it only shows one post for me. Thought it might be appropriate to register since I was referring this board to others ;)
