Yeah, I don't know either... I don't quite care for it as it's too much to keep up with the articles and if someone posts a response, it'll get buried with all the new articles... and also when I hit "new posts" all those show up...

If I wanted all the news, I would visit cnn and bbc. I come here to discuss choice topics in the news.

Its an automatic script that updates the latest news from around the world. You cannot post or reply to any of the threads there. One thing that I am not pleased about is how it doesnt display more of the news story before you have to click on the link. But theres noway I can control that. Thats from the RSS feed itself.
This was added as a convenience, instead of having to switch around to other sites. Plus, it keeps the site looking fresh with new content. Its staying, The search engines love it and its not doing any harm here. If you dont like it, ignore the section. The same with blueberries, if you dont like em, dont eat em. If a story seems repetitive, its because it has been updated. for instance between 9am and 11am : Quote:

Yeah, it's all good. I already have my favourite news sites though... who knows, maybe I can slowly transition it to here. If it benefits the site to get more traffic there's really no argument to make that would be better to remove it.
I love blueberries, but I wont be checking that section too often (for now).
