Take off!

Edit: It seems to post the same stories from different sources.

Yeah, I don't know either... I don't quite care for it as it's too much to keep up with the articles and if someone posts a response, it'll get buried with all the new articles... and also when I hit "new posts" all those show up...

If I wanted all the news, I would visit cnn and bbc. I come here to discuss choice topics in the news.

Its an automatic script that updates the latest news from around the world. You cannot post or reply to any of the threads there. One thing that I am not pleased about is how it doesnt display more of the news story before you have to click on the link. But theres noway I can control that. Thats from the RSS feed itself.

This was added as a convenience, instead of having to switch around to other sites. Plus, it keeps the site looking fresh with new content.

Its staying, The search engines love it and its not doing any harm here. If you dont like it, ignore the section. The same with blueberries, if you dont like em, dont eat em.

If a story seems repetitive, its because it has been updated.

for instance between 9am and 11am :

But it's posting an overwhelming amount - nobody can keep up with all that. Can't it just post front-page news?

Its constantly posting and updating front page news. All the news on there now ARE front page stories. The only time im going to be looking at it is during big breaking news events.. Otherwise its just food for search engines.

By the way, I did look for a feed that would update ONLY the latest and biggest news stories. This way only a few stories would be posted there everyday.. If I can find one like that, then I would enable posting in that section. I kind of like the way it is now though. I just saw a few breaking stories that surprised me.

Yeah, it's all good. I already have my favourite news sites though... who knows, maybe I can slowly transition it to here. If it benefits the site to get more traffic there's really no argument to make that would be better to remove it.

I love blueberries, but I wont be checking that section too often (for now).

Blueberries can kiss my ***, and that section can too!

I still think that your time would be better spent making stuff for Alizée, Martin.
