Default Spelling and Grammar

I am certain that most authors would love to have perfect English each time they post. Realistically it will not happen.
So strive as we might to be perfect little authors of our own demise, we are unable to live up to such high standards.
What really is happening, when fault is found, those who point out our errors have lost their debate and must assume a position of superiority grammatically.
Therefore, for you spelling hounds read this and try not to have a heart attack.
In return I'm certain we will all strive to be as haughty as thou!

That isn't simple bad spelling. There are rules to govern how the word is scrambled. In addition, the grammar is fine and, scrambling aside, the spelling is perfect as well. It's not at all the same as poor spelling and grammar.

That an old psychology trick. Like radio said, nothing to do with spelling.

Good spelling and grammar is a sign of intelligence. If someone posts an opinion with the spelling ability of a doorknob, will you take them seriously? No.

lol (just practicing my word - texting skills). I think it all makes sense that by having the first and last letter in a word properly placed that one would have no problem reading the word. Its a good theory but Radioactive has a good point regarding there being rules that govern word scramble.

If someone that is truly hopeless in spelling were to spell a random word, even though that word may be common to us, most of us would do a double take while trying to decifer the word. cause like he said...

"It's not at all the same as poor spelling and grammar."
