If Israel nukes Iran and you were Irans leader, what would be the best way to hurt Israel and the US, as the US seems to be controlled by the Jewish people and their lobbies. I say the aforementioned as a tactician, that hates war and as a person that knows that if justice and equality are not used equally for all, then that is what makes the terrorists in each nation.

It also seems from looking at the big picture, that the US and Israel are using economic and physical force to bring about their version of one world gov, which must fail and create nuclear war.

Top US officials pushing for Iran strike: Fox News
Washington, Sep 12, 2007 - US military officials and weapons experts are advising the leadership to drop diplomacy with Iran over its nuclear programme and prepare for military action, FOX News reported.
Quote:
The US TV channel said Germany's recent decision not to back sanctions against the Islamic Republic, which the US accuses of developing nuclear weapons, had pushed 'a broad spectrum of officials in Washington to develop potential scenarios for a military attack'. The channel claimed that 'political and military officers' had lost patience with Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Nicholas Burns's diplomacy efforts with Iran.

FOX said security and non-proliferation official John Rood, and several Mideast experts including James Jeffrey, a White House national security adviser, were 'advising Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice that the diplomatic approach favoured by Burns has failed and the administration must actively prepare for military intervention of some kind'.

Serious discussions are now underway in the Bush administration on 'the costs and benefits of military action against Iran', focusing on two options - 'less invasive scenarios' involving a blockade, and 'full-scale aerial bombardment'. The channel cited a foreign diplomat as saying the George W. Bush administration 'has just about had it with Iran. They tried the diplomatic process. China is now obstructing them at the UN Security Council and the Russians are tucking themselves behind them'.

It's likely that Russia and China are at least partially funding the insurgency, because bush and his puppeteers grabbed Iraqs oil fields.

The world knows this, but it seems we Americans aren't supposed to know.

In the broad scheme, only by using justice and equality, shall we as a nation prosper. Instant gratification is no longer possible, as the world has become very small.

Bullying tactics, both economic and militarily, will only bring about huge losses for all people,---except for those causing this debacle, as the regular people will be ensuring their safety at great expense, as the regular people do without and suffer the consequences--- as security will eat-up all in its path.

Security will become the number one cost at least in the US, in a few short years, because justice and equality are not applied equally and with vision.

The longer the world delays, the more time Iran has to complete its program...

IAEA Chef: Iran War Talk Is Hype
September 17, 2007: Mohamed El Baradei, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General said Monday that force is not necessary in dealing with Iran over its ongoing nuclear projects.
Quote:
"We need always to remember that use of force could only be resorted to when every other option has been exhausted. I don't think we are at all there," he told reporters in Vienna. El Baradei's statement comes a day after France's Foreign Minister said that the international community should prepare for "a possible war" against Iran if the they insist on continuing their nuclear program. El Baradei described talk of war as "a lot of hype". The IAEA chef added that "there is a UN charter and there are rules for the international use of force."

El Baradei, who previously criticized the war in Iraq, said "I hope everybody would have gotten the lesson after the Iraq situation when we see a drama unfolding every day," adding "hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians have lost their lives on the suspicion that a country had nuclear weapons. "By November, December we will be able to know whether Iran is acting in good faith or not, and if not, then obviously we will have a different situation."

He added that "people need to bear with us. People need to understand we are dealing with an issue that has a lot to do with peace and security and regional instability in the Middle East, and I would ask everybody to hold their horses until we go through the process." El Baradei said there is no reason to fear because "based on the work of IAEA inspectors in Iran I have made it very clear that I don't see today a clear and present danger in regard to the Iran nuclear program."

Secret US air force team to perfect plan for Iran strike
September 23, 2007 - THE United States Air Force has set up a highly confidential strategic planning group tasked with “fighting the next war” as tensions rise with Iran.
Quote:
Project Checkmate, a successor to the group that planned the 1991 Gulf War’s air campaign, was quietly reestablished at the Pentagon in June. It reports directly to General Michael Moseley, the US Air Force chief, and consists of 20-30 top air force officers and defence and cyberspace experts with ready access to the White House, the CIA and other intelligence agencies.

Detailed contingency planning for a possible attack on Iran has been carried out for more than two years by Centcom (US central command), according to defence sources. Checkmate’s job is to add a dash of brilliance to Air Force thinking by countering the military’s tendency to “fight the last war” and by providing innovative strategies for warfighting and assessing future needs for air, space and cyberwarfare.

It is led by Brigadier-General Lawrence “Stutz” Stutzriem, who is considered one of the brightest air force generals. He is assisted by Dr Lani Kass, a former Israeli military officer and expert on cyberwarfare. The failure of United Nations sanctions to curtail Iran’s nuclear ambitions, which Tehran claims are peaceful, is giving rise to an intense debate about the likelihood of military strikes.

Bernard Kouchner, the French foreign minister, said last week that it was “necessary to prepare for the worst . . . and the worst is war”. He later qualified his remarks, saying he wanted to avoid that outcome. France has joined America in pushing for a tough third sanctions resolution against Iran at the UN security council but is meeting strong resistance from China and Russia. Britain has been doing its best to bridge the gap, but it is increasingly likely that new sanctions will be implemented by a US-led “coalition of the willing”.

Cheney reportedly wants war with Iran
Sunday 23rd September, 2007 - A former official on the staff of U.S. Vice President **** Cheney, has reportedly confirmed the vice president has been pushing for war with Iran.
Quote:
David Wurmser, Principal Deputy Assistant to the Vice President for National Security Affairs since 2003, according to two knowledgeable sources, told a group of people Cheney was considering having Israel launch missile strikes on the Iranian nuclear site at Natanzto, to provoke Iran into lashing out.

In its October 1 2007 issue, Newsweek magazine says it has corroborated Wurmser's comments, which were first reported last week by Washington foreign-policy blogger Steven Clemons, who described Wurmser as, "one of the Vice President's most dedicated neoconservative spear-carriers."

Newsweek says it approached Cheney's office to speak to Wurmser but was told he had quit his post in July. Asked to comment on the claims a spokesman for the vice president said Mr. Cheney "supports the president's policy on Iran."

Israelis don't have the range...

Mission improbable - Could Israel attack Iran?
22 October 2007: Israel's September air strike in Syria and heightened rhetoric incited speculation about the possibility of a similar operation on Iran's nuclear programme
Quote:
The 6 September Israeli air strike in Syria led to a rash of speculation that the Jewish state had struck a target of strategic significance. So far, little verifiable information has emerged about what facilities were destroyed, but it has dramatically raised the already existing tension between Israel and her adversaries in Syria and Iran. Israeli government leaders continue to accuse Syria of actively co-operating with Tehran and this, combined with the demonstration of Israel's ability and will to use its long-range aircraft to strike at regional states, has heightened speculation that Iran may soon become a target for Israeli air power. This has been exacerbated by media conjecture that the 6 September incident was an Israeli attempt to try probing around the northern edge of the Syrian air defence network along the Turkish border to find a 'corridor' towards Iran.

A further permutation on this theory is that the operation was meant to be detected to deceive the Iranians into thinking any Israeli air strike aimed at their nuclear sites would come over northern Iraq and force them to divert more air defence assets to this region, leaving other sectors more vulnerable. While there is no corroborating evidence to support either of these theories, they highlight the possibility of an Israeli air strike on Iran. However, although the Israeli government has ramped up its rhetorical attacks on Iran in recent months it is still highly doubtful that Israel could launch a successful operation that would inflict long-term damage on Tehran's nuclear infrastructure or force Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to abandon his anti-Israeli and US policies.

The primary problem for any Israeli operation in Iran is range. With no aircraft carriers or forward operating bases outside its territory, any attack by Israel on Iran would necessarily involve either its ballistic missiles or its long-range aircraft. The total number of Iranian nuclear sites are unknown, although more than 10 sites have been associated with Iran's nuclear projects by the US and Israel. Of these, the two most likely to be targeted by Israel would be the as yet unfinished 1,000 MW reactor at Bushehr on the Persian Gulf coast and the suspected uranium enrichment plant in Natanz, 60 km southeast of Kashan in central Esfahan province. Bushehr and Natanz are clearly the centre of the Iranian programme, as the former could provide spent fuel for enrichment and the latter could theoretically turn that material into weapon-grade assets. Without these sites any Iranian nuclear weapon project would be unlikely to succeed.

Why weaponization if only for peaceful energy purposes??

IAEA Report Raises Questions On Iran
Feb. 28, 2008 - Recent IAEA Report Raises 'Very Troubling' Questions On Iran
Quote:
A new report by the U.N.'s nuclear watchdog raises "very troubling questions" about Iran's engagement in weapons production and will open a new page in the probe into Tehran's alleged activities, a senior U.S. official said Thursday.

The International Atomic Energy Agency released a report last week saying that suspicions about most past Iranian nuclear activities had eased. But it also pointed to Tehran's continuing efforts to enrich uranium. It called weaponization "the one major ... unsolved issue relevant to the nature of Iran's nuclear program."

In an interview with Associated Press Television News, Gregory L. Schulte, the top U.S. delegate to the IAEA, said the report will "open a whole new page in our investigation because it raises very troubling questions about Iran's engagement in weaponization activities." "How do you take highly enriched uranium and actually fashion it into a weapon and put it on a delivery system," Schulte said.

Israel gonna have help dealin' with Iran...

Peres says Israel will not act alone on Iran: report
Sat Mar 8, 2008 - Israel will not consider unilateral action to stop Iran getting a nuclear bomb, President Shimon Peres was quoted as saying on Saturday.
Quote:
In an interview with France's Le Figaro newspaper ahead of a trip to Paris next week, Peres said, however, if economic sanctions failed to persuade Iran to stop its contested nuclear program then "non-military options would be used up". The United Nations has imposed sanctions on Iran to pressure it to suspend uranium enrichment.

The United States and other major powers suspect Iran is enriching uranium as part of a covert effort to develop a nuclear bomb. Iran says it is only interested in civilian nuclear energy. "I would prefer to stop the development of the bomb without recourse to war. Sanctions have proved their efficacy in the past," Peres said, citing decisions by Libya, South Africa and North Korea to renounce nuclear plans.

Asked if Israel would act alone to stop Iran getting the bomb, Peres, a former prime minister who currently holds no executive power, replied: "Under no circumstance. We are not so imprudent as to concentrate the Iranian danger on Israel." "It's a problem that the rest of the world must resolve. With the long-range missiles developed by Iran the problem is not only Israeli," Peres added.

Iran askin' for it...

Iran says installing 6,000 enrichment centrifuges
8 Apr.`08 - Iran has started to install 6,000 advanced centrifuges at its uranium enrichment facility, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday, an expansion of nuclear work the West fears is aimed at building bombs.
Quote:
Diplomats in Vienna said last week that Tehran was installing advanced enrichment centrifuges at the underground Natanz facility, accelerating activity that could give Iran the means to make atom bombs in the future if it chose to. Iran, the world's fourth largest oil exporter, says it wants nuclear technology to generate electricity.

"President Ahmadinejad has announced the start of the installation of 6,000 new centrifuges at Natanz," state radio and television reported. "Today the process of installing 6,000 advanced centrifuges started ... I will give further details about them tonight," the students news agency ISNA quoted Ahmadinejad as saying at Natanz in central Iran, surrounded by anti-aircraft guns.

The president will give a speech later on Tuesday in a ceremony in Tehran to celebrate Iran's National Day of Nuclear Technology. "I promise to give more good news," state television quoted Ahmadinejad as saying. He did not elaborate.

Iran been warned, Fearless W gettin' ready to kick butt...

"Hostile" Iran Sparks U.S. Attack Plan
WASHINGTON, April 29, 2008 - Pentagon Wary Of Tehran's Expanding Nuclear Program And Support Of Iraqi Insurgents
Quote:
A second American aircraft carrier steamed into the Persian Gulf on Tuesday as the Pentagon ordered military commanders to develop new options for attacking Iran. CBS News national security correspondent David Martin reports that the planning is being driven by what one officer called the "increasingly hostile role" Iran is playing in Iraq - smuggling weapons into Iraq for use against American troops. "What the Iranians are doing is killing American servicemen and -women inside Iraq," said Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.

U.S. officials are also concerned by Iranian harassment of U.S. ships in the Persian Gulf as well as Iran's still growing nuclear program. New pictures of Iran's uranium enrichment plant show the country's defense minister in the background, as if deliberately mocking a recent finding by U.S. intelligence that Iran had ceased work on a nuclear weapon.

No attacks are imminent and the last thing the Pentagon wants is another war, but Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mike Mullen has warned Iran not to assume the U.S. military can't strike. "I have reserve capability, in particular our Navy and our Air Force so it would be a mistake to think that we are out of combat capability," Mullen said.

Targets would include everything from the plants where weapons are made to the headquarters of the organization known as the Quds Force which directs operations in Iraq. Later this week Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki is expected to confront the Iranians with evidence of their meddling and demand a halt. If that doesn't produce results, the State Department has begun drafting an ultimatum that would tell the Iranians to knock it off - or else.
