I thought that those were interesting. The first shows that the teacher was a completely insane nut job. At first I had thought it exceptionally weird that a teacher called the police on a student who was being stubborn.
The second is at least as weird as the first quote. The police officer is obviously not all 'there' either if he'd arrest a fourteen year old, particularly an entire week after an incident that isn't a crime to begin with.

But yeah, political correctness is complete garbage. This happened in the UK though which doesn't really surprise me. The ironic thing about PC is that it is most prevalent in the places that are the most discriminatory or where so in the past. It's like they try to fix the past by overcompensating now.
