It definitly has some sort of dog in it. When I first looked at it, I immediately thought it was a dog, and nothing else, but after taking a second look, I guess the ears, and snout do look a little different like the article pointed out. I like how they label the article though: "Hybrid Mutant Discovered in Maine." A mutant? They make things so dramatic at times...

It looks like part dog, part wolf. I actually think it looks pretty cool. But if it was harming innocent people then it should have been killed.

I think it does look kind of cool as well, but it's obviously not if it's out mauling pets. I can't say what it is, although it looks like it definately has some sort of dog in it.

Either way, that's some crazy stuff. 15 years.... that's quite the timeline for a dog. So I'm confident it's not just a dog. I have no idea the average age of a wolf or coyote, so that doesn't help as much as I thought.

Interesting read though.

Mauled a Doberman and Rotweiler? Holy smokes, what a beast, good thing it got ran over I guess. It's eyes were quite bulged, I can see why scientists thought that was peculiar.
